About our cause
Surrey Heath Age Concern CIO is an independent, local charitable organisation working in the borough of Surrey Heath.
Our mission is: “To replace loneliness and isolation with happiness and friendship, for older people in Surrey Heath borough”.
With the help of our fantastic team of volunteers, we make this all happen through:
- Our Visiting & Befriending service that matches a volunteer with an isolated older person.
- Our Rainbow Cafe which is a warm, inclusive community cafe.
- Our Tea & Memories vintage tea parties, held at the Rainbow Cafe.
- Our Agility Class held every Weds at Places Liesure.
- Our Tea & Chatter volunteers drive older people to hosted monthly tea parties.
- Men’s Breakfast Club.
We need your help to reach out to more isolated older people with our range of social and befriending services.
