A Musical Treat For Christmas…

We want to thank The Login Lounge and the wonderful Sandhurst Silver Band and The Hampshire and Surrey Hills Men’s Choir for performing for us at this Festive evening of Music and Song!

Surrey Heath Age Concern is a remarkable local independent charitable organisation working right here in the borough of Surrey Heath, England. Our mission? To replace loneliness with happiness and friendship for older folks in the community.

And YOU can help us deliver our mission to the older folks by attending this wonderful festive concert. Music and Song for all!

Let me give you the lowdown on what we are all about:

·                     Enhancing Lives: We provide services that enhance the lives of older people. Just like fairy godmothers of well-being, sprinkling a little magic to combat social isolation and loneliness.

·                     Overcoming Isolation: Breaking down the walls of solitude. Through various events and initiatives, we create opportunities for older folks to engage, connect, and build meaningful relationships. Because life is better when shared, right?

·                     Health and Well-Being: We are not just about tea and biscuits (although we do have some delightful tea parties!). We also focus on improving physical and mental health. Agility classes. Vintage tea parties and much more . We have got it all covered.

·                     Independence at Home: (Befriending Service) Imagine being able to stay in your own cozy abode as you age. We support older people to live independently and while remaining in their homes. It’s like having a friendly neighbour who pops by to make sure you’re doing okay.
